This is the Remarks of Catholic Clerics towards those who are against CJ Maraga

The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops have called for an end of open intimidation and issuing of threats against the Supreme court after they nullified the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a press briefing at their offices in Waumini House, Westlands, the Catholic Bishops said the singling out of Chief Justice David Maraga by Jubilee leaders for vilification is unjustifiable.
“While every individual can criticize any institution that he or she disagrees with, attacks that diminish the integrity of the Judiciary and any other public institution should stop. The vilification on Maraga carries much more weight than criticism,” they said.
They, however, stated that the IEBC must work with utmost integrity to gain the confidence of the stakeholders and the citizens of Kenya following the gazettement of a fresh election on October 17. They said Jubilee and other leaders should accept the ruling and stop the threats, intimidation and vendetta against the Supreme court.
