Business of the house will continue as usual, Jubilee MPs tell NASA

A section of Jubilee MPs took to the floor of the House on Wednesday to chide their NASA counterparts for skipping the session. The legislators said it is unfortunate that MPs affiliated to the NASA coalition are held at ransom by their leaders.

Principals of the National Super Alliance are Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya). Some MPs referred to the NASA politicians as "frogs whose noise cannot hinder a cow from drinking water". Others said they are yet to realise they were elected to serve Kenyans' interests so they are "worshiping their masters".
The first Parliamentary session was held on Wednesday morning to appoint members of the House Business Committee. The drama began before the nomination of MPs Amos Kimunya (Kipipiri), Shadrack Mose, Kawira Mwangaza and Joyce Akai was unanimously passed. NASA MPs who skipped the session are yet to present their names.
