NASA, IEBC to Meet Over Election Date among other issues, Find Out!!

NASA leaders on Wednesday announced plans to meet with IEBC to resolve the row on the new date for repeat presidential election. The team says they expect to among other issues, discuss the changes in the electoral agency's secretariat ahead of the October 17 vote.
ODM chairman John Mbadi said IEBC had invited the principals to iron out the issues before the scheduled poll. Only President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga will contest the said election. Mbadi spoke at the NASA secretariat in Lavington where the coalition held its 3rd Parliamentary Group meeting.
The development followed Raila's fresh demands to the commission amid his threats to boycott the election if the demands are not met. The coalition wants staff at the IEBC secretariat, among them CEO Ezra Chiloba, removed on grounds they were involved in the August 8 poll malpractices.
