Chebukati writes to Mudavadi to quell storm over repeat polls

IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati has assured NASA that the October 17 repeat election will be free and fair.

“I wish to assure you of full transparency in the planning and operations of the fresh presidential election [and] intend to hold weekly briefings with the presidential candidates and agents to discuss emerging issues,” he said in a letter to coalition co-principal Musalia Mudavadi.

Mudavadi wrote to IEBC demanding among other things the removal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, a review of the KIEMS kit before the repeat elections.
