The ‘Nana’ singer got the chance of a lifetime to perform with celebrated and popular international act, American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actor, Ne-Yo.
The two music stars shared the stage at the Jembeka Festival 2016 in Mwanza, Tanzania which saw a huge crowd attend the sold out event.
Diamond was more than thrilled and honored to have had the chance to perform with Ne-Yo, after missing out on the chance to work with him in last year’s Coke Studio Africa, with Alikiba instead representing Tanzania in the non-competitive show.
He has collaborated with huge stars like P Square, Davido, Mafikizolo, the late Papa Wemba, Flavour, to name just a few. There is no doubt that he’s currently at the peak of his career, with the recent revelation that he’s worth a whopping $4 Million (KSh. 4 billion).
Away from music, Diamond is a family man, with a cute baby girl, Tiffah Dangote and is married to the beautiful Zari Hassan, a Ugandan business lady and socialite. He is in love with Princess Tiffah and we see them all over social media having daddy-daughter moments which truly warm our hearts.
Though there was a lot of controversy when speculations that Zari was pregnant with their second child and Diamond allegedly demanded she abort, the two later confirmed she was pregnant, and they have been doing great since then.
He recently visited Vegas, and has been seen with Hollywood stars such as Kevin Hart and now, Hollywood actor, Charlie Sheen. He announced what seemed to be a project he’s partaking with the actor but did not give much details. This is what he posted; “Tanzania receive the greetings from @charliesheen …. i wish you guys know what @charliesheen and i about to bring in Africa…. ”
