Independent Nairobi gubernatorial candidate, Miguna Miguna, has suffered a major blow after his running mate, Karen Wangenye, stepped down nine days to the hotly contested August 8 elections.
Ms Wangenye, while addressing the press at a city hotel Saturday, July 29 morning, cited poor working relations with the independent candidate.
The outspoken candidate, who has consistently accused his competitors – Dr Evans Kidero (ODM), Mike Sonko (Jubilee), and Peter Kenneth (Independent) – of incompetence, is now at a crossroads.
Ms Karen Wangenye claimed that the Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant lacks teamwork and adds that he is too aggressive and so rude and can’t work with anybody.
