Renowned Kenyan Songbird Jaguar Opens Up About His Father's Admission At A Rihab In Nyeri

Kenyan singer Jaguar has opened up about his father’s admission to a rehab facility in Nyeri over alcohol addiction.

The Kigeugeu hit-maker took to his social media pages on Monday to divulge that his father is almost done with his rehabilitation program.

“Visited the Serenity spring center; a drug rehabilitation center in Nyeri where my dad is currently undergoing rehabilitation due to alcohol addiction. It has been a long journey battling the addiction but I believe he is finally overcoming it,” wrote Jaguar.

Jaguar is a director at the National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (Nacada).

President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Jaguar to Nacada board last year in a Gazette Notice published on April 27.

His appointment term spans 3 years beginning April 17, 2015.

Since his appointment, Jaguar has been vocal in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse.
