Kenyan Athlete David Rudisha Featured In Katy Perry's New Music Video

World and Olympic champion David Rudisha has been featured in the NBC Olympics anthem by celebrated American singer Katy Perry.

The music video titled Rise will be used as an anthem in the 2016 Olympic Games that will kick off on August 5, and will end on August 21 in Brazil’s capital Rio de Janeiro.

In the video, the 800 meters world record holder appears in one of the first scenes before other athletes are featured. Rudisha is then seen running; donning a Kenyan themed bead-work bracelet.

David Rudisha cemented his dominance in athletics in 2012 when he set a new world record on the track at London 2012 as he won 800m gold.

Rudisha stormed to victory in his debut Olympic final to become the first man inside one minute 41 seconds, clocking 1:40.91, breaking his own world record that was set in 2010.
