Vesha Sheillan turned 19 and her mother could not hide her excitement as she showered her with a new saloon car, high-end laptop among other gifts.
The party was attended by invited guests, among them Vesha’s friends and Akothee’s dear cronies. There was a lot of energy as guests danced, drank, ate and enjoyed every bit of the ceremony.
Akothee refers to Vesha as a “miracle baby” because she was born prematurely and she managed to survive childhood challenges.
“Vesha weighed less than 1kilogram when she was born. She is a miracle baby to me. I gave birth to her when I was 14. I am so proud of Vesha. She is such a responsible girl. She takes care of her siblings while I am away,” Akothee said.
Vesha, an alumnus of Moi Girls’ High School Nairobi scored B+ in KCSE, and will join “one of the best universities in the world,” says Akothee.
Her birthday celebration is still on – thanks to the mother.
“Vesha will stay at Sankara for a whole week for she has been a role model to me too. She deserves it. She is my best friend,” notes Akothee.
Vesha wants to pursue a bachelor’s course in Business Management so that she “would control Akothee Empire.”
Vesha is the first born in a family of five siblings.
