Two dead, scores injured in grisly Mombasa Road accident

Two people have died and several others injured following a grisly road accident at Kiu area near Salama town on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

The accident reportedly involved three vehicles, including two Lorries and a personal car.

According to eyewitnesses, the two lorries collided and burst into flames, killing the two drivers on the spot.

Confirming the incident, Salama Police Station Traffic Commander Joseph Nyasili said one of the lorry drivers who was transporting oil was burnt beyond recognition after the lorry burst into flames.
