At one point in 2015, Jeff’s show landed him in court when he was arrested for court contempt alongside his guest Tonny Gachoka and fined KSh2 million.

A Nairobi court issued warrants of arrest for the two on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, for disobeying a court order stopping them from discussing the conduct of Kwacha Group of Companies Limited in the media.

The company directors, Jimi Wanjigi and Mr Sani Mbui Wanjigi  complained to the court that Koinange and Gachoka ignored the orders issued on March 20 and went ahead to discuss Kwacha Group on the  Jeff Koinage Live show on April 1.
