Ugenya youths block roads to stop Chebukati and Chiloba from attending Chris Msando’s burial

Ugenya youths on Saturday mounted roadblocks on all major roads leading to the venue of Chris Msando’s funeral service.

The lot says they are on a mission to ensure IEBC chairman Wafula Chebuka and CEO Ezra Chilloba do not attend the burial.
The group said they are angered that the two electoral agency officials betrayed the late ICT manager and NASA leader Raila Odinga.
“We are going to search all vehicles heading to the funeral. If we meet the two, we will force them to go back to Nairobi,” one of them said.
They vowed to chase the top IEBC officials away in case they bump into them anywhere in the funeral or within Ugenya constituency.
The mean-looking youths said IEBC commissioners erred by announcing President Uhuru Kenyatta the winner without confirming all forms 34A and 34B.
“They undermined and went against the free and fair commitment they swore to defend when assuming office,” others said.
The residents said they will not stop demanding justice for Msando saying the latter was sold off the way Judas did to Jesus in the Bible.
Earlier, they held a peaceful demonstration demanding that the former IEBC ICT official’s family be served justice.
No IEBC official had arrived at the funeral service hosted at Lufunga primary school by time of press.
Raila, NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma senator-elect Moses Wetang’ula attended the burial.
Siaya Senator James Orengo, Governor-elects Cornel Rasanga (Siaya), Angang’ Nyong’o (Kisumu) joined the coalition principals in the send off.
The IEBC bosses were at Msando’s requiem mass at the Consolate Shrine in Nairobi on Thursday.
