According to Skysports in Italy, Hull City have made an
approach to Gianfranco Zola about becoming their new manager.
Meanwhile, the Wales FA have told Sky Sports News
HQ that they have received no approach from the Tigers about Chris
Coleman, who signed a new two-year contract in May.
Steve Bruce left Hull this summer and Wales boss
Coleman has been widely linked with the City job.
Bruce, who was interviewed for the England job, guided Hull
back to the Premier League last season but stepped down last
month, reportedly over concerns of a lack of investment at the KCOM
Stadium.
Chelsea legend Zola has had managerial spells in English
football with West Ham and Watford, but both ended with the sack.
He then moved back to his home island of Sardinia to manage
Cagliari, but that reign ended in his dismissal too.
His most recent job was as head coach of Al-Arabi in Qatar,
who dismissed him in June.
