Six Police Officers Confirmed Dead As Gunman Storms Into Kapenguria Police Station

Six police officers are feared dead at Kapenguria police station. Reinforcement has been sent to the station to solve a siege with a gunman who had been earlier arrested.

The suspect who had been arrested on suspicion of being a terrorist. While in custody, the suspect seized a rifle and begun shooting. Police have surrounded the stations and efforts to subdue him are ongoing.

Meanwhile in Lamu at least one Al-Shabaab suspect has been killed, several wounded in a raid on Mangai AP camp.
