Popular Kenyan Songstress Avril Opens Up About Her Rumored Relationship With Diamond Platnumz

Popular Kenyan musician Judith Nyambura, known to many by her stage name Avril , has opened up on the speculations surrounding her famed affair with the Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz.


Avril, during an interview with East African Radio’s Planet Bongo show, said the Number Onehit-maker to her was never a significant other but a hard working friend.

“Diamond is a good friend whom I have known for quite sometime,” she said.

Avril-Diamond insinuated romance came up after she was featured in the Tanzanian’s music video Kesho as an actor.

The Kenyan lass told Planet Bongo that they were working on projects and there was nothing more to their friendship.

“After we shot the video Kesho, there was no other project we have come together to do.”

The Chokozahit maker added that she has known Diamond as a hard worker and that she found him interesting when they worked together.

Avril, who announced earlier this week working with Mombasa-based singer, Susumila, also mentioned her delight working with Tanzanian artists including Raymond, Ommy Dimpoz, Vanessa Mdee and Linda Sanga.
