Karatina University Loses Student Leader After Being Involved In A Fatal Road Accident

A cloud of sorrow has befell Karatina University students after losing one of their own, a student who was well known and to add, a student leader in the Karatina University Students' Association (KUSA).

 Ms. Fancy Chepkorir was the Director of Health in the Students' Association recently elected to serve in the association in the academic year 2015/2016. She was a student in the School of Business Riverbank Campus and an incoming fourth year who was well recognized by a majority of the students and above all, a friend to many.
 From reliable sources, it is alleged that Ms. Fancy Chepkorir got involved in a fatal road accident that took her life. Fellow comrades have expressed their innermost and heartfelt sympathy following the death of their loved one. It has been hard to accept they have lost their beloved comrade because she has gone too soon.
 Here are some of the messages of condolences sent by fellow students on social media;

Lucia: "Fancy Fancy ...I call on your name and now no one can respond...a joyful day has turned to be sorrow...happy moment to be a sad one....why should this happen really??we cannot tell but our maker has the right reason for it all one thing is that am assured u are in the right hands and I thank God for the time that we have been together those when you gave us advice as ladies in our meetings it was great to have u...I love u fancy and will forever cherish u...the pain is so much but the grace is sufficient for our God is the comforter may comfort be upon us as members of a family and karatina fraternity."

Miss Janex: "May the God of all comfort comfort their families."

William Mwangi: "We must accept that in this earth we are sojourners. Bt s accute agony wen we loose young pple who are fervent change agent like Fancy. Bt we mst accept wat we cnt change therefore let stand wth her family in what ever capacity deemed audacious. RIP great leader."

Jeffether Mukundi: "R. I. P, We shall meet again too.. Surely death you a thief .. In some cases we could be saying NO..May God strengthen the loved ones.."

Clinton George M: "Death takes away the people we love.No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't really want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. Rest in peace fancy. We surely shall meet again.we shall miss every single minute we had you.gone too soon."

It is sad moment to both the family and Karatina university fraternity, but God's deeds are never questioned, may Almighty God comfort her family and friends.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday. Burial preparations are underway...
